The Madison Excavating Major Atoms celebrated the holiday season with another 3 wins in league play to add another 6 points.

On December 21st, the Major Atoms played host to the Oshawa Generals for a midweek matchup at the Marmora arena.  The first period saw the teams battle back and forth but saw no score by the end of the set. The Generals struck first to take a 1-0 early second period lead but the Devils wasted no time to tie up the game on a shot from Jared Langdon, assisted by Ty McCambridge. Langdon would add another before the end of the second to make it a 2-1 game in the Devils favour. In the third it was Braedyn Rogers on the assist from Beckett Ewart and Langdon to make it 3-1. With the Generals goalie pulled in the dying minutes of the third period Landon Wright added the security of an empty netter to give the Devils a 4-1 win. Glen McInnes guarded the net for the Devils.

December 27th had the Devils at home again but this time in Belleville at the QSWC to host the Central Ontario Wolves.  It was Ben Danford from the point, on the assist from Ewart and Ty Therrien who hit the scoreboard first to give Quinte the lead at the end of the first. Therrien would add one of his own early in the second, assisted by Ewart and Landgon. Kirk Stevenson added one on the set up from Gage Butcher and Carson Campbell to make it 3-0 Devils before the third. While the Wolves snuck one by netminder Dean Spry, it would be the only one to get by him. Quinte went on to add another 4 goals in the third to take the decisive 7-1 win. Scoring in the third were Butcher, Rogers, Stevenson and Langdon. Assisting were Liam Philip, Brody Partridge, Thomas Kuipers, Wright, McCambridge and Campbell.

The Devils took to the road on Friday, December 30th to take on the Petes at the Evinrude in Peterborough. The Devils spread out their offence over all three periods, adding one each set to take a 3-1 win over the physical Petes team. Langdon went to work for the Devils getting them on the scoreboard first with the assists from Rogers and Therrien. Ewart added his in the second, assisted by Langdon and Therrien. Peterborough would add one in the second to make it a one goal game but Philip came out in the third to score and seal the 3-1 victory.
