3 point weekend for the Pita Pit Boys
The Pita Pit Minor Peewees hosted the Kingston Frontenacs Thursday night. The Devils came up short in this one and lost 2-1. Lone goal came from Sam Thompson assisted by Carter Chadwick. Liam Boyer was in net for the Red Devils.
Saturday the Devils faced off against the Clarington Toros on home ice once again. The Toros took a 1-0 lead late in the game until Ben Sherwin blasted one by the tender to tie it with 10 seconds left in the game the lone assist went to Kaiden Harmon. Reece Herman took the tie in net for Quinte.
On Super Bowl Sunday the boys travelled to Oshawa to take on the Generals. The Devils took a 1-0 lead as Carter Chadwick tipped home a nice feed from Pax Murphy also assisted by Sam Thompson. The Devils went up 2-0 on a Goal by Ben Laird assisted by Pax Murphy and Dawson McIntosh. The Gens would make it close but Ben Laird put one into an empty net to seal the deal. Liam Boyer took the W in the Devils 3-1 win. On Deck Saturday vs Ajax/Pickering Sunday vs Central Ontario Wolves.
