QRMHA Tryout Policies 2013/2014

PRE-REGISTRATION DATES:
Tuesday, April 2^nd, 6:00 – 9:00 pm Wally Dever Arena, Quinte Sports Centre, Belleville
Tuesday, April 9^th, 6:00 – 9:00 pm Duncan MacDonald Arena, Trenton

Mail-in option: Player Information Forms, Copy of Birth Certificates and Fees payable to QRMHA can be mailed to.

QRMHA TRYOUTS 2013-2014:
Any players not in good standing with their team or the association will not be permitted to tryout or receive a waiver.
 
Tryout Fees: Early Bird Fee - $100, after April 12^th - $125.
Tryout Fees include three guaranteed skates and a Quinte Red Devil Tryout jersey. There will be a $15 per tryout per player fee beyond the first three tryouts (coach’s invitation only).
All players must have a parent or guardian with them when arriving for their first tryout to ensure all documentation is received.
 
MINOR ATOM AAA INFORMATION SESSION

Quinte Sports Centre, Belleville

OHF WAIVER POLICY:
Players wishing to be released to try-out for another AAA Centre must request an OHF AAA Hockey Waiver. Waivers are only issued after the player has participated in three meaningful skates as per QRMHA Policy and the Head Coach of that age group agrees to the release.

INFORMATION REQUIRED TO PARTICPATE IN 2013-2014 TRYOUTS:
1. Completed Permission to Skate Form from your Home Centre. Players must be registered with their home centre prior to taking part in a Quinte Zone tryout. Please ensure that your address and the proper spelling of your name are correct with your home centre. PTS forms are available after the OHF Championships, check with your home centre when they will be available for pick up. You may pre-register for tryouts and provide the PTS prior to the first tryout skate.
2. Copy of Player’s Birth Certificate. (Birth Certificates are required each year with registration).
3. Completed Player Information Sheet. (Player Information Sheet is located on the QRMHA website).
4. Payment. (All cheques payable to QRMHA, receipts available)
