Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Peewee (U12)

3 games and 5 points on the weekend!

Friday, the team traveled to meet up with the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. An attractive start a weekend of hockey, the Devils had couple quick goals to start of the game; hitting the twine were Matthew Airhart (unassisted) and Ryland Cunningham (Jack Foley and Kaden Koutroulides). The second period saw no action, however before heading home, both teams hit the scoreboard once, earning Airhart his second of the night (assisted by Owen Rivers). Goalie Katste Brant and the Minor Peewees went home with a 3-1 victory!

On Saturday, the Minor Peewees were home to the York-Simcoe Express, in a game that ended in a 1-1 tie. Quinte's goal was scored by Cunningham, assisted by linemate Koutroulides and Katste Brant held strong between the pipes.

Back on the road it was, as the crew spent Sunday in Richmond Hill facing off against the Coyotes. Taking a bit of a gradual start to the game, Richmond Hill took a 1-0 lead in the first. Keeping the home team questioning the strategy, it was not until one minute left in the 2nd that Quinte opened their scoring, when Cunningham took a pass from Kolby Craig. On into the final frame, the Coyotes added one more to their tally, otherwise Quinte took charge of the game and the scoreboard. Third period points by: Airhart (Koutroulides and Cunningham), Foley (Rivers and Airhart) and two unassisted goals from Noah Lesser and Rivers. A fInal score of 5-2, Cohen Bedore in net for the win.

Stop by to cheer on the Minor Peewees during their final game of 2019, as they play host to the Markham Waxers on Saturday, December 21st, 2pm at the QSWC.
