The U14 Quinte E360 Solutions Red Devils picked up 4 points in ETA league play this weekend.
On Saturday, QRD scored early and often in an 8-0 win over NCP. Mac Chisholm (2 G, 3 assists) and Cole Coughlin (5 assists) led the way on the scoresheet while Lily Reid picked up the shutout between the pipes. Devils of the Day were Chisholm and Cole Rowat.
On Sunday, Wyatt Whalen scored twice, and Reid picked up her second consecutive shutout, as the Red Devils blanked the Richmond Hill Coyotes 3-0. Devils of the Day were Reid and Coughlin.

The McInroy Maines Quinte Red Devils U18 had a busy week at the rinks with 3 games to close out the month of October.
The U18s wasted no time adding to the wins column of their season with a solid 7-0 win over the Central Ontario Wolves early in the week. QRD started the scoring with Ben Vreugdenhil hitting the twine in the first on the set up from Deacon Ellis and Trent Williams. The second set saw the Devils turning away the Wolves and adding to their lead with 2 goals from Thomas Kuipers with assists from Ellis, Keenan Wiles and Liam Storms. The third and final set would see 3 more goals added to the scoreboard by the QRD crew on shots from Joey Coates, Justin Murdoch and one more from Kuipers for the hat trick. Assisting in the third were Murdoch, Ellis, Vreugdenhil and Luke Jarmin. Dean Spry was in net for the shut out.
Mid-week match up number two had the Devils playing host to the inaugural meet up with the Kingston Gaels at QSWC this past Thursday. The first period closed out scoreless between the two teams. In the second, it was Coates who put up the first goal for the Devils, assisted by Ellis. Murdoch added a second goal on the set up from Coates before the end of the second. The Gaels would squeeze one past Spry in the third but QRD fought back with another in the Kingston end to make it a 3-1 final with Murdoch burying the last goal unassisted.
Saturday, October 29th was the official Pink in the Rink event for the McInroy Maines U18 team as they hosted the Barrie Colts at the QSWC. The event offered numerous fundraising opportunities with all funds raised being donated by the team to the BGH Breast Cancer support systems. Additionally, the team collected non-perishable food items to be donated to the local Gleaners food bank in Belleville. On the ice, the Colts gave the Devils some trouble in the first and second set, scoring one in each and leaving the Devils down by 2 going into the third. The QRD crew came out ready to even the score in the third and got on the board with a goal from Wiles. Barrie answered back to take a 3-1 lead over the Devils but Wiles found the back of the net again to close the gap to one goal again. Kuipers(2) and Woolley assisting on the goals. Late in the third Woolley would score the tying goal on the set up from Carter McKee and Murdoch. With only .27 seconds left in the game, the Colts slipped passed the QRD netminder Spry to once again take the lead and left the Devils to take the loss with a 3-4 final. The team would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the supporters for the Pink in the Rink event - your generosity was so appreciated and will directly impact our local community.
ON DECK: The McInroy Maines U18 Quinte Red Devils will travel to Kingston to face the Gaels at the Invista Centre on Tuesday, back at home on Thursday to host the Ajax-Pickering Raiders at QSWC and take to the road on Saturday to once again face the Barrie Colts in Innisfil.

Two Tough Losses for the Pita Pit U16 Quinte Red Devils
On Thursday night, the U16 Pita Pit Quinte Red Devils took on the Peterborough Petes at home in a tough battle. It was a tight game from start to finish with Reece Herman in net making it tough for the Petes to run away with the game. The Pete’s came out on top with a 3-2 win. Quinte goals were scored by Deke Osterhout and Jack Pixley.
At home on Saturday, it was another hard fought battle against the Barrie Colts. Herman protected the pipes again and goals were scored by Avery Wease and Brody Nielissen. Unfortunately, the game ended in a 3-2 loss for the Red Devils.
ON DECK: At home Thursday (7pm), the Red Devils take on the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. On the weekend, they’ll hit the road to take on the Peterborough Petes on Saturday (4:15) and on Sunday they’ll rival the Clarington Toros (4:45). Good luck Red Devils!

The U15 Free Flow Petroleum Devils Netted some Big Wins this Weekend
The Free Flow Petroleum Red Devils came ready to play on Saturday in a rematch at home vs. the North Central Predators. Jack Foley, assisted by Noah Lesser and Matthew Airhart opened scoring in the first. Not twenty seconds later, Ryan Kinghan from helpers, Kolby Craig and Jake Campbell, followed suit. Liam Campbell (Foley, J. Campbell) was the lone Devil to find the net in the second and the period ended 3-0. Craig (J. Campbell and Kinghan) hit the net in the third. Quinte final goal would come from Owen Rivers, with assists going to Jacob Moore and Craig. Cohen Bedore shut the door in net, earning the 5-0 shutout win.
On Sunday, the Devils hit the road to face-off against the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The visitors would deliver a big win, heading home with 9-1 on the scoreboard. Goals scored by J. Campbell (3), Moore (2), Airhart, L. Campbell, Kinghan and Foley, with assists going to Kaden Koutroulides, Graydon Walst, L. Campbell (2), Airhart (3), Moore (4), Craig (3), Foley (2), and Kinghan. Bedore solid in net for the 9-1 win.
ON DECK: The Free Flow Petroleum Devils are on the road next weekend, with their first match-up of the season against the Peterborough Petes on Saturday evening. On Sunday they travel to Clarington to face-off against the Toros.

Gillespie’s Tree Service U13s Collect Six Points
The Gillespie’s Tree Service U13s played an unusual Saturday double header this weekend
opening it up against the York-Simcoe Express. YSE came into the game vs QRD owning a
6-0 record so Quinte knew they would have to bring their A game and that they did. Trent
Clow opened up the scoring in the first period for QRD with assists from (Lauchlan Whelan,
Spencer Harold), YSE would knot the game back up at one early in the second but QRD
would answer right back with a goal from Joey Seguin, helpers from (Clow, Drew
Wright). Shortly after Ewan Dahle (Jax Martin, Spencer Harold) would add a much needed
insurance goal to push Quinte past YSE with a score of 3-2. Stellar game from Ryerson
Swan.
In the second half of the double header Quinte took on the Richmond Hill Coyotes and that
seemed no problem for the Red Devils in a 7-0 win. Goals came from Clow (Seguin), Laurin (Whelan), Dahle (Martin), Clow (Brechyn Aird), Liam Marion (Wright, Clow), Easton Thompson (Laurin, Whelan), Clow added his third of the night to collect the hat trick (Marion). Nathan
Ferriss stood his ground in net to collect the shutout.
On Sunday October 30th, Quinte took on the Barrie Jr. Colts looking for a much-needed win.
The game started with good pace with both teams trading chances at cracking the scoring,
QRD carried most of the play heading into the second period and that paid off with Clow (Marion) getting Quinte on the board to make it 1-0. Early in the second period, Aird (Clow, Marion) gave the Red Devils a two goal lead which was much needed as the Colts would answer back with two quick goals to tie the game at two.
Heading into the third period Quinte knew what was at stake and dug down deep and keep
the pressure on, their hard work in the third would pay off as the Red Devils hemmed the
Colts in their own end and got the puck to the point for Aird to find the back of the
net for his second of the game, assists from (Clow, Dahle). Dahle would seal the deal from Quinte with an empty netter (Seguin, Harold). Swan earned the W in net for his second win on the weekend. Final Score 4-2.

The Bonn Law QRD U12 Team travelled to Boston this past weekend, to play in The Exposure Cup Tournament.
The U12 team had a strong showing at the tournament, competing against some of the top talent in The United States. After going 2-1 in the RR, the Devils finished first in their pool and would face The Islanders Hockey Club in the ¼ final game. The Islanders got on the score sheet first in the game, but Quinte would come right back with a goal from Brody Grant (assisted by Shea Teather). The Islanders would take the lead again and eventually we found ourselves down 4-2, before storming back to tie the game When Mason Whalen scored with 30 seconds left in regulation, after pulling our goalie. The Devils were set for 3on3 OT and were flying on the first couple of shifts, before being handed a tripping penalty. Unfortunately, The Islanders would capitalize on their PP, sending the Devils to The Consolation Final. Shea Teather had a pair of goals in the game. Additional assists; Teather, Hughes, Goulah, Grant. Dax Sage Was sharp in net for the Devils.
The Devils showed up ready to play in the Consolation game on Sunday morning and skated to a 7-2 win over the LeHigh Valley Phantoms. Brody Grant and Mason Whalen each had a pair of goals in the game. Also lighting the lamp in the win was James Gullage, Austin Pettey and Cameron Stevens. Chipping in with helpers on the goals; Pettey, Teather, Whalen, Gullage, Marsden, Plummer. Matt Travers was sharp between the pipes.
In game one of the tournament, The Devils faced off against the high powered Midfairfiled Rangers, who are a top team in The USA. The Devils worked hard and matched their speed. It was 2-2 heading into the second period and both teams continued to battle hard. Matt Travers made several big saves to give his team a chance to take the lead, but The Rangers would capitalize on a PP and an EN goal, on their way to a 5-2 win in the game. Gullage and Teather did the scoring for the Devils, with assists going to Whalen, Hughes and Grant.
In their second game of the day on Friday, Dax Sage would shut the door in the net, and his team went to work to defeat the Ohio Blue Jackets 3-0. Goals in the game came from Teather, Stevens and Dowling. Assists; Mcrae, Plummer, Gullage, Hughes, Marsden, Whalen.
On Saturday, The Red Devils would face the high-flying Dallas Elite Stars (who were the eventual tournament Champions). After going up 3-1 in the game, The Devils saw the Speedy Stars come charging back and take an eventual 4-3 lead heading into the 3rd period. The Devils were able to settle back in and put their foot on the gas to score 2 more goals in the final period, on their way to a hard fought 5-4 win. Mason Whalen had a pair of goals in the game, including the GWG. Gullage, Pettey and Teather also lit the lamp in the win. Assists; Gullage (2), Marsden, Nicholson, Hughes, Goulah, Grant. Travers was fantastic in net once again for his team, sending them to the ¼ finals in first place in their pool.
The Coaching staff were exceptionally pleased with the level of play and teamwork displayed by their team throughout the entire weekend. Several other coaches, referees, timekeepers and opposing parents comments on the skill level, team play and fantastic sportsmanship of the team, which is a huge WIN in itself. The Staff would like to thank all the parents for their continued support, and for helping to make the weekend lots of fun. The Devils are looking forward to heading back to league play this weekend with some great experiences from the weekend in Boston.

The Madison Excavating Quinte Red Devils U11 team had a busy and successful week, hosting three home games and securing five points in regular season play.
The midweek match-up saw the Junior Gaels coming back with a vengeance after QRD beat them the previous week with a score of 5-1. The game heated up in the latter portion of the first period. With five minutes left in period one, the Gaels would score the first goal of the game, answered minutes later with an equalizer from Blake Sills. With under a minute left in the first period, Kade Osterhout would help put QRD on top when he found the back of the net. The Gaels tied the game at two when they scored halfway through the second period. There was plenty of back-and-forth action to start period three. With just over six minutes left, Everett Brown skillfully buried the puck in the back of the net. The fight wasn’t over as the Gaels responded to QRD’s third goal, with a powerplay maker of their own. With just over a minute and a half left in the frame, there wasn’t enough time for the QRD boys to capitalize, ending the game in a 3-3 tie. In net, Hayden Tripp made many excellent saves to help keep the score as close as possible.
The Madison Excavating Quinte Red Devils U11s were once again on home ice this past Saturday, hosting the Central Ontario Wolves. The Devils were itching to get a win and would prove to do so, taking down the Wolves with a score of 5-2. The first period saw the first goal of the game come from Central Ontario. Things got tense when Central Ontario scored a second goal early in the second period. QRD, however, was just warming up. The second period would see QRD fight back with ferocity, with Kade Whelan getting a hat trick, and Brown adding another goal for insurance. Brown wasn’t finished though, as he scored the fifth and final goal of the game in period three, while the Central Ontario Wolves seemed to have run out of ammunition. Ben Larmer was stellar in net, making some timely saves and securing the win for QRD.
In the third game of the week, The Madison Excavating Quinte Red Devils U11s would take on the OMHA winning Barrie Junior Colts. QRD showed no mercy, putting forth a solid team effort to secure the win and create an upset for the Colts. The first goal of the game would come from QRD’s Osterhout, a mere minute from the end of the first period. The Colts tied things up about five minutes into the second period and would follow that up with a second goal two minutes later. QRD was not discouraged; the Colts’ lead sparked the team. QRD would tie things at two, forty seconds after the Colts’ second goal, with a shot from the point from Hewett Tejnor. Period three began and tensions were high. QRD played their hearts out, scoring two consecutive goals. One of those goals would come from Whelan to give QRD the 3-2 lead. Osterhout sealed the deal with an empty netter, widening QRD’s lead to two goals. The Colts were able to squeeze one more goal in, forty seconds before the final buzzer. It was not enough for them to regain the lead, and QRD earned the 4-3 victory, upsetting the Colts, and giving them their first ETA loss of the season. Tripp was busy between the pipes, and made some exemplary saves, contributing to the team’s success.

The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils are still undefeated in league play, winning both games this weekend.
Saturday, the Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils faced off against the Barrie Colts for a home game in Marmora. The first period was a back-and-forth battle. Max Norton opened the scoring 31 seconds into the game, with the assist going to Will Beebe. With four minutes left in the period Barrie would score to equal things up. It was only 19 seconds later that Beebe would score on an offensive face-off win by Noah Gilchrist to give Quinte the lead. The score after the first period was 2-1 for the Red Devils. Barrie came out flying in the second period and would score just over a minute in to tie the game. Shortly after Max Norton would make it 3-2 for Quinte, with the assists going to Gilchrist and Beebe. Quinte would score two more times in the period as Evan Andrews scored from Kash Nelson and Beebe would score an unassisted marker. Barrie would score a late goal in the frame to make the score after two periods 5-3 for the Red Devils. The third period was all Quinte as Andrews would score two more goals, giving him a hat trick and Beebe netted another to give him the hat trick as well. Nelson picked up two more assists in the period and Gilchrist had one. The final score of the game was 8-3 for Quinte. Blake Laurin was solid in net and picked up the win. Max Norton was named Player Of The Game.
Sunday the Devils travelled to Peterborough to take on the Petes. Halfway through the first period Noah Gilchrist would score with assists going to Will Beebe and Graydon Tucker. One minute later Evan Andrews would score from Kash Nelson. The score after the first period was 2-0 for Quinte. The Red Devils did all the scoring in the second period. Jaxon Elrick and Evan Andrews would each score an unassisted marker and Beebe would score from Gilchrist. The score after the second period was 5-0 for Quinte. Peterborough would score 30 seconds into the third but Quinte would add another goal with Kash Nelson scoring from Andrews and Ethan Dowling. That was all the scoring in the third, making the final 6-1 for Quinte. Lily Groeneveld had a great game for Quinte picking up the win in net. Sebastien Smit was named Player Of The Game.
ON DECK: The Foley Bus Lines U10 Devils play Saturday, November 5th at home (Marmora) vs. North Central and hit the road on Sunday, November 6th when they take on York-Simcoe.
