Quinte Red Devils Host OMHA East U16 AAA Showcase at Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre
The Quinte Red Devils are set to welcome the best of OMHA East U16 AAA hockey to Belleville as they host the OMHA East U16 AAA Showcase from February 6–8 at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre.
The three-day event will feature all 11 OMHA East U16 AAA teams, bringing together many of the province’s top players for a marquee weekend of competition. With the OHL Priority Draft approaching later this year, the Showcase provides a high-profile opportunity for players to compete, be evaluated, and measure themselves against the strongest opposition in the region.
Games will run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, filling both the Mackay Insurance Pad and FDC Pad with nonstop AAA action. Fans can expect a fast-paced, high-skill environment as teams face off in tightly contested matchups throughout the weekend.
The HockeyStickMan U16 Quinte Red Devils enter the Showcase riding strong momentum, having recently put together a six-point week to solidify their position near the top of the standings. Quinte will take the ice twice during the weekend, playing Saturday at 11:30 AM and Sunday at 10:30 AM, with both games scheduled on the Mackay Insurance Pad. The Red Devils will face the #1 and #4 seeds, setting the stage for a pair of high-intensity matchups.
Beyond the on-ice action, the Showcase is supported by strong community and sponsor involvement. HockeyStickMan Belleville has provided Player of the Game awards for the weekend, with selections made by opposing coaches following each game. Fans attending games may see special presentations recognizing standout performances throughout the event.
