All Players must Register with QRMHA before the first tryout date.
Due to the shortened tryout period mandated by OHF and OMHA, the QRMHA is requiring that all skaters must register before the first tryout date.
There are 2 options for Registration -
1. “In person” registration
2.  Email registration

Registration Deadline: Thursday April 11 at 10:00pm (email option)

1.  In-Person Registration Dates:

Tuesday, April 9th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm

at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre in Belleville, Fire Place Room


Wednesday, April 10th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
at the Duncan McDonald Arena in Trenton, Main Lobby

If you register by email, you can pay the tryout fee at the first tryout.


Tryout Fees

Any outstanding fees from the 2018-2019 season must be paid in order for returning players to participate in tryouts for the 2019-2020 season.


Registration Fee - $100.  Cash or cheque can be brought to the first tryout, (along with the Permission to Skate form)


Tryout fees include two guaranteed skates and a Quinte Red Devil Tryout jersey.
There will be a $20 per skate fee for each player beyond the first two scheduled tryouts (coach’s invitation only).


All players must have a parent or guardian with them when arriving for their first tryout to ensure all documentation is received.


QRD Waiver Policy:

Players wishing to be released to tryout for another AAA Centre must request an OHF AAA Hockey Waiver.  Waivers are only issued after the player has participated in at least one meaningful skates as per QRMHA Policy and the Head Coach of that age group agrees to the release.


Information / Documentation Required to Participate in 2018-2019 Tryouts:

1.      Completed Permission to Skate (PTS) form from your Home Centre.  Players must be registered with their home centre prior to taking part in a Quinte Zone Tryout.  Please ensure that your address and spelling of your name is correct with your home centre.  PTS forms are available after the OHF Championships, check with your home centre when they will be available for pick up.  You may pre-register for tryouts and provide the PTS the day of the first tryout skate.  This form is mandatory and players without a PTS will not be permitted to participate in any tryouts.

2.      Completed Player Information Sheet.  Available on the QRMHA website.

3.      Payment.  All cheques payable to QRMHA, receipts available.  Sorry no credit card or debit option.
