Madison Excavating Minor Atoms finish the season in first place in the East
The Madison Excavating Minor Atoms finished up their regular season with another 2 wins, taking 4 more points and retaining their number one spot in the East.





The Devils hosted the Central Ontario Wolves in Marmora this past Wednesday. The Wolves came out ready to play, catching the Devils off gaurd with 2 goals in the first.
The second period saw the Devils begin to regroup and tie up the game with goals from Thomas Kuipers and Gage Butcher, asssists from Ben Vreugdenhil, Brody Partridge and Liam Philip. Butcher would go on to add 3 more goals in the third with 2 assists from Jared Langdon to give the Devils the 5-3 win. Goal tending duties were shared by Glen McInnes and Dean Spry.

On Saturday, the Red Devils took to the road for their final match up of league play in Lindsay for a second bout with the Wolves for the week. This game was a much
different game for the Devils as they caught their stride again and made quick business of tipping the scoreboard in their favour. Philip opened up the scoring with an
unassisted goal, followed by another a minute later from Partridge, assisted by Kuipers and Ty McCambridge. The Wolves notched one before the close of the first but
it would be their only one of the game and the Devils went on to take an 11-1 win. Scoring the remaining goals for the Devils were Kirk Stevenson, Partridge(3), Kuipers,
McCambridge, Nolan Donnelly, Carson Campbell and Butcher. Assists from Vreugdenhil, Butcher(2), Donnelly(2), Langdon, Kuipers and Partridge. Glen McInnes was in net.
