Quinte Red Devils Major Atom Team split a pair of games in league play this
weekend.
On Saturday, the Devils were in Whitby to take in the Wildcats. The two teams battled hard throughout the game, exchanging chances along the way. Whitby carried a one goal lead until late in the third period, when they scored on a breakaway to make it 2-0, and added an empty netter to win the
Game 3-0. Jacob Brown was sharp between the pipes for the Devils.
On Sunday, the Red Devils played host to the Oshawa Generals and were quick to take the lead when Spencer Cranley scored in the first 14 seconds of the game. The Devils carried the play for the majority of the game and skated to a 6-3 win. Cranley finished the game with a hat trick, while Joey Coates scored a pair, and Cal Uens added a single. Assisting on the goals was Uens (2), Ben Lynch (2), Jack Dever, Ben Danford, Ethan Quick, Vincent Bellavance, Clayton Rose and Tyson Carr. Tucker McKichan earned the win in net for the Devils.
