Four of a possible six points for the Bonn Law Major Atoms
The Bonn Law Major Atoms collected four out of a possible six points in a busy week in league play.

The Devils were at home on Wednesday night to play the Clarington Toros for the first time this season.  The Devils took full control of the game early on with their relentless forecheck and team play.  Cal Uens had a 4 point night, including 2 goals and 2 assists in the 4-2 win.  Tucker McKichan was sharp between the pipes and stopped a penalty shot when the game was 2-1.  Also scoring for the Devils was Vince Bellavance and Ethan Osborne.  Adding additional helpers on the goals was Osborne, Spencer Cranley, Clayton Rose and Ethan Quick.

The Red Devils travelled to Peterborough for a Friday night tilt with the Petes.  Once again, the team brought their A game and took a 5-0 lead early into the third period.  The Petes got on the score board with a pair of goals in the third, but the Devils earned the 5-2 win.  Lighting the lamp for the Devils was Tyson Carr, Vince Bellavance, Cal Uens, Jack Dever, and Spencer Cranley.  Assisting on the goals was Ben Lynch, Nick Oke, Christopher Brydges, Bellavance (2), Uens (2), and Cranley.  Jacob Brown was solid in net to earn the win.

On Sunday, the Devils were back at home to the Whitby Wildcats in a matchup between the top two teams in the East.  The game proved to be an exciting, fast paced battle that had the fans on the edge of their seats.  Vince Bellavance opened the scoring for the home team in the first shift of the game, assisted by Uens and Cranley.  The Wildcats responded with a goal of their own shortly after that, but Uens scored an unassisted goal just 21 seconds later to put the home team back on top.  Whitby scored two more goals in the second and one early in the third to take a 4-2 lead.  With a power play and the goalie out, Spencer Cranley found the back of the net to bring his team within a goal in the final minute of the game.  The Devils had good pressure and pulled the goalie again to try and tie the game, but the Wildcats sealed the win with an empty net goal in the final seconds of the game.  Tucker McKichan was solid in net for the Devils in the 5-3 loss.
