Minor Midgets Stun Fronts and Have a Strong Showing at the Showcase
It was the regularly scheduled Wednesday night KKP Minor Midget game of the week that saw visiting 1st place ETA-East Kingston travel to the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. The week ended with the Minor Midget Showcase hosted by the ETA-West North Central Predators.

KKP - Minor Midget
Dec. 2 (3-2 Win against Kingston)
The Fronts of Greater Kingston have proved great competition for the Young Gentlemen Devils as GKF maintained their stranglehold on 1st place in the East. All of the games have been tense, closely contested battles and they have all ended in a score of 3-2.

Pierce steered away the attacks of Kingston and steered his club towards victory. Scoring for the Devils in this #TeamFirst victory were Matthew Poole, Brandon Grills, and Devin Morrison. Helpers came from Baker, Morrison, Poole, Dunkley, Boomhower and Warren.

With that win the Devils lead the season series 2-1.

Dec. 5 (4-1 Loss to North Central)
The Devils then took a roadie to take place in the 2015 ETA Minor Midget Showcase where they played two tough ETA-West teams in North Central and Barrie.

The Devils played the always tenacious and gracious hosts of the Showcase in Orillia in their first game and the game did not go as planned. Scoring the lone goal for the Devils was Joe Roy with help from Matthew Sherwin and Zach Wheeler. Pierce Nelson was in net for the Men in Black.

Dec. 6 (3-1 Win against Barrie)
Evan Morrison was the goaltender for this one which saw his side score three and only sacrifice one for a big win in the second and last game of the ETA Minor Midget Showcase in Orillia. Tallying for the Devils were Nathan Dunkley on an unassisted effort, Dawson Baker helped by Dunkley and Poole and the icing on the cake empty net goal by Matthew Sherwin assisted by Roy and Dunkley. Next up for the minor midget Red Devils is a regular season game on Wednesday Dec 9. at the QSWC against the Whitby Wildcats!
