Weekly Report February 5, 2017
The Vanderlaan Building Products Minor Bantams had only two games this past week.
On February 4th, Quinte hosted the Peterborough Petes. The two teams battle hard and the game was scoreless until two minutes left when Aiden Treverton tucked the game winning goal into the back of the net. Daniel Michaud and Nathanial Burelle with the assist. Ethan Fraser with the shutout and was awarded player of the game.
On Sunday February 5th, the Devils travelled to Whitby to take on the Wildcats. Whitby came out strong getting an early goal in the first. Quinte didn't get on the board until the second period with a goal by Aiden Treverton. Lucas Culhane with the assist. Whitby quickly answered back to make it a 2-1 game and they didn't look back from there, beating Quinte 4-1. Dixon Grimes was in net.
