The Major Midget Quinte Red Devil Program will be back in action this season. After a successful 15-16 campaign the program will return the same coaching and training staff looking to continue a tradition of developing young men and young hockey players to the next steps in hockey and in life.
No formal dates for Main Camp have been announced as of yet, but Head Coach Ben Hagerman says that camp will be centered around the Labour Day Weekend this year.
" We want everyone to attend OHL, and Jr. A camps that they are invited to before they come back to the program for Main Camp, it is hard to operate a main camp with so many Junior Programs running at the same time so we have decided to start a little later this year."
All area and out of area 1999 and 2000 birth year players will be welcome to attend main camp.
"With the success of the 2000s last year and the opportunity for some 1999 players to come back to the program we are very excited for the product that we will be putting on the ice."
That being said, Hagerman noted that players from other local center more than welcome to tryout and challenge for a spot on the team.
