On Sunday Oct 8, The Bus Liners traveled to Darlington to take on the Clarington Toro’s.  The Toro’s were hungry to hand the Devils their first loss of the year as they came out of the gates flying with fast and aggressive play, putting the Devils on their heels as they went down by two goals after the first period.  Early in the second period, the Toros struck again making the score 3 to 0, resulting in Corbin Votary being pulled from the Devils net.  The Devils would finally get on the board in the second on a power play goal by Noah Richard, assisted by Dalyn Wakely.  The second frame would end by a score of 3 to 1.  The Devils would strike back first, in the third period to pull within one, on another power play goal scored by Owen Beck. Assists on the Beck goal went to Kellen Dostaler and Trevor Hoskin. The Toros would add a late third period goal, putting one by Brayden Spry as he finished the game in the Devils net. The Devils fell to the Toros by a score of 4 to 2.
