6 BIG POINTS FOR THE FOLEY BUS LINES MINOR BANTAMS……..
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantams finished a busy week with three games in ETA action with games against Kingston, York Simcoe, and Markham.

On Wednesday Oct 11, the Bus Liners hosted the Kingston Jr. Frontenacs at the QSWC.  The Frontenacs got on the board early by scoring 2 unanswered goals in the first period, putting the Red Devils on their heels going into the 2nd period. The Red Devils owned the 2nd period as they fought back with 3 unanswered goals of their own.  Scoring for the Devils were; Noah Richard assisted by Dalyn Wakely, Dalyn Wakely assisted by Noah Richard, and Corbin Roach assisted by Dalyn Wakely and Trevor McDowell. The score was 3 to 2 for the Devils going into the third period.  The Frontenacs came out strong in the third, scoring twice to regain the lead by a score of 4 to 3.  Brayden Spry left the Devils net as Corbin Votary came in to finish the game.  The Devils regained composure as Donovan McCoy found the back of the Fronts net with assists going to Trevor Hoskin and Kellen Dostaler to tie the game at 4.  Dalyn Wakely scored three minutes later to give the Devils the lead on assists from Corbin Roach and Trevor McDowell.  Noah Richard would score with only 17 seconds left to seal the deal with the assist going to Corbin Roach.  Final score was 6 to 4 for the Devils.

On Saturday Oct 14, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantams travelled to St. Andrews College to take on the York Simcoe Express.  In a back and forth game, both teams could not beat the goaltenders at each end, until Trevor Hoskin lit the lamp on a feed from Sami Douglas-Najem with just 57 seconds left in the 2nd period.  The Hoskin goal would prove to be the game winner as the Devils held on to win the game by a score of 1 to 0. Corbin Votary was strong in the Devils cage stopping all the Express could throw at him, including 3 breakaways and a penalty shot.

On Sunday Oct 15, the Minor Bantams hit the road again to return to Markham and take on the Waxers.  The Red Devils took control early with a trio of goals in the first period.  Scoring for the Devils were; Noah Richard on assists from Trevor McDowell and Cooper Matthews, Connor Hunt from Trevor Hoskin, and Trevor Hoskin from Trevor McDowell and Dalyn Wakely. The Devils added to their lead on Noah Richards second goal of the game, assisted by Owen Beck.  The Devils had a 4-goal lead, when the Waxers finally struck to end the second period by a score of 4 to 1 in favour of the Bus Liners.  Despite getting into penalty trouble in the third period, goaltender Brayden Spy made several key saves to fight off two separate 5 on 3 penalty kills.  Once back to full strength, the Devils continued their offensive productivity with two more goals. Scoring the third period goals were; Owen Beck from Sami Douglas-Najem, and Noah Richard with his third of the game to record his hat trick on assists from Donovan McCoy and Aaron Brown.  Brayden Spry went the distance in the Devils cage.

Next action for the Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantams is Saturday Oct 21 at the QSWC against the Richmond Hill Coyotes. Puck drop scheduled for 5:45pm.
