A WIN OVER THE TOROS FOR THE FOLEY BUS LINES MINOR BANTAMS…..
In their only game this week, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantam
Red Devils beat the Clarington Toros, by a score of 5 to 2.
On Saturday Feb 3, the Bus Liners took on the Clarington Toros at the QSWC. The Toros were the first to strike in the first period, but Cooper Matthews evened things up on assists by Kellen Dostaler and Trevor Hoskin. The score was 1 to 1 going into the second, when the Devils opened things up. Corbin Roach, Trevor Hoskin and Noah Richard added goals in the 2nd period. Assisting on the second period goals were; Sami Douglas-Najem, Dalyn Wakely with a pair, Kellen Dostaler, and Cooper Matthews with a pair. The Devils netted a fifth goal in the third by Corbin Roach, assisted by Aaron Brown and Noah Richard. The Toros would score one final goal in the third, but it wasn’t enough as the Devils took the game by a score of 5 to 2. Brady Spry went the distance in the Devils cage.
Next action for the Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantams is Wednesday Feb 7 at the QSWC as the Devils host the Whitby Wildcats. Puck drops at 7:45pm.
