FOLEY BUS LINES MINOR BANTAMS ARE HEADING TO OMHA FINALS FOR THE FOURTH TIME IN FIVE YEARS!
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Bantams played two games this week in the OMHA Semi Final Series against York Simcoe.  The Bus Liners had a 4 points to 0 lead in the 6 point series.  The Devils lost in OT in game 3 and took the series with a win in game 4.  The win puts the Minor Bantam Devils into the OMHA Championship for the 4th time in 5 years!

On Mar 14, the Bus Liners hosted the Express in game 3 of the series, at the QSWC.  The Express came out strong taking a 2 to 0 lead in the first period, before the Red Devils struck with a goal from Parker Stewart to make it a 2 to 1 score going into the second period.  Assisting on the Stewart goal were Trevor McDowell and Owen Beck.  The Devils tied the game early in the 2nd as Dalyn Wakely scored on feeds from Donovan McCoy and Cooper Matthews.  Owen Beck gave the Devils the lead unassisted, but the Express were not about to give up by scoring to even the game going into the 3rd.  The Express scored twice early in the third to take a two-goal lead.  The Devils fought back as Parker Steward scored his second goal; unassisted, and Kellen Dostaler tied the game on assists from Dalyn Wakely and Aaron Brown.  The game went into OT, and it was end to end action before the Express finally scored in the last minute of OT to take the win.  Brady Spry and Corbin Votary shared duties in the Devils net.  The Express win, put the series at 4 points to 2 in favour of the Devils.

On Mar 17, The Devils travelled to the Bradford Rec Centre to take on the Express in Game 4.  Dalyn Wakely opened the scoring for the Devils in the first period on feeds from Noah Richard and Cooper Matthews.  The Express evened the game with a goal of their own, but Donovan McCoy gave the Devils the lead on an assist from Owen Beck in the last minute of the first period.  The Express evened the game early in the 2nd, but the Devils regained the lead on a goal from Dalyn Wakely, assisted by Owen Beck.  It was all Devils in the third period as Dalyn Wakely scored his third and fourth goal of the game! Corbin Votary went the distance in the Devils cage. Final score was 5 to 2, and with the win, the Devils completed the series, 6 pts to 2.

The Series win, gives the Devils a birth into the OMHA Finals hosted by Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The OMHA Championships will take place Mar 23, 24 and 25th at the Pickering Rec Centre at the Delaney Ice Pad.
