The Bonn Law Quinte Red Devils Major Peewee Team Are 1-1 in exhibition play.
The
2017-18 Bonn Law Quinte Red Devils Major Peewee team got their first taste of
game action this weekend, when they hosted The Syracuse Nationals for a pair of
exhibition games.
The Red Devils got off to a fantastic start, scoring several highlight reel goals on their way to an 8-3 win in game one. Ethan Miedema and Jack Dever both scored hat tricks in the game, while Ben Smith and Ethan Quick added a goal each. Assisting on the goals was Nick Oke (3), Jack Lowry and Miedema. Aidan Crowley was between the pipes in the win. In the second game of the day, the Devils came out flat and didn’t seem to play the same game, which saw them on the losing end of a 5-2 game. Ethan Quick and Keenan Wiles did the scoring for the Devils, with Miedema and Wiles notching assists. Brayden Friedrich handled the goal tending duties in the game.
The Red Devils are looking forward to their first tournament of the season, at the Ottawa Senators AAA Shootout Sept 8-10.
