Weekly Report Nov. 6-12
The Madison Excavating Minor Peewees took home 6 points in league play this week winning all 3 of their games.

Wednesday was a mid week match up verses the Clarington Toros at home at QSWC. It was a scoreless first period as the Devils were held off the scoreboard until the second when Ty Therrien found the back of the Toros net with the set up from Braedyn Rogers and Ben Vreugdenhil. Beckett Ewart would add 2 more before the end of the second, assisted by Rogers and Jared Langdon. The Devils would go on to dominate the third period and add 4 goals to the scoreboard to give them the 7-0 victory. Scoring in the third were Rogers, Langdon(2) and Ben Danford. Assisting were Langdon, Ewart, Vreugdenhil, Rogers, Therrien, Liam Philip and Danford. Mike McIvor was in net for the shut out.

Saturday had the Minor Peewees play host to the Central Ontario Wolves. Again the first period would end scoreless but it was Ewart to light the lamp first in the second set on the pass from Langdon. The Wolves would manage to tie the game shortly after but it was Ewart again to give the Devils the lead, this time assisted by Philip and Langdon. Central would tie the game 2-2 before the end of the second but it would be their last goal of the game as the third period saw the Devils pour on the offence. Tallying 4 unanswered goals, Quinte skated their way to a 6-2 win. Goals in the third came from Philip, Langdon(2) and Therrien. Assists came from Ewart(2), Langdon, Rogers and Danford. Dean Spry stood tall in net for the Devils.

The Devils were on the road to Peterborough on Sunday to face the Petes at the Evinrude. Landon Wright would open up the scoring for the Minor Peewees on the set up from Anthony Nugent and Deacon Ellis. In the second, Philip would take the set up from Danford and Langdon to make it 2-0. Peterborough would sneak one past the Quinte net minder, but it would be their only goal of the game as the Devils went on to add 2 more to take the 4-1 victory. Ewart and Philip would score the last two goals of the game, assisted by Langdon and Wright. McIvor would take the win in the net.

On Deck: The Madison Excavating Minor Peewees will be on the road to Oshawa on Tuesday to take on the Generals. The weekend has the Devils home on Saturday at QSWC to host the Ajax-Pickering Raiders and away on Sunday to face the Wildcats in Whitby.
