The Bonn Law Minor Bantams are off to a great start going 4-0 in the first two weeks of league play, leading the East division with 8 points.

Kicking off their winning streak was their home opener against the nearby Kingston Frontenacs. Liam Murphy made his debut as a Quinte Red Devil in net getting the 7-3 win.  Offense came from all 9 forwards as follows: Goals by Justin Murdoch (also his first as a Devil!!), Spencer Cranley (2), Ethan Miedema, Jack Dever (2) and Cal Uens. Their first road game was a hard fought battle against last year’s first place team in the East division, Central Ontario Wolves. In a very physical game, the boys worked through penalties to secure a 2-1 victory, outshooting their opponents by an impressive margin. Goals from Cal Uens and Ethan Miedema with assists from Christopher Brydges and Tyson Carr.  Aidan Crowley picked up the win in net.

Game three saw the boys back on home ice over their first West opponent, Ajax Pickering Raiders. Although the boys got off to a very slow start, they dug deep to secure the win. Christopher Brydges opened scoring from the point for QRD on a pass from Ethan Miedema. Second period goals from Ethan Quick and Christopher Brown helped establish the lead heading into the third period. Josh Cunningham scored from the point late in the third and Christopher Brydges finished it off with an empty net goal to secure the 5-3 win. Helpers to Dever, Murdoch, Dolton and Uens.  Liam Murphy was between the pipes for the Devils.

Game four was a 5-0 win over Whitby Wildcats. Aidan Crowley was credited with the shut out. The Bonn Law Minor Bantams were not only a physical threat but solid both defensively and offensively in this convincing win. Ethan Miedema opened scoring in the second period with 2 powerplay goals.
