Peewee Weekly Report Sept. 24-30
The Madison Excavating Peewees were 1 and 1 this weekend on the road Saturday and their home opener at the Yardmen this past Sunday.

The Devils travelled to Kingston on Saturday and supported the Jr. Frontenacs efforts with supporting their local food bank. Quinte players donated items to the cause and were

welcomed by the Fronts with a hospitality room and in game recognition. The Devils came out fast and upset the Frontenacs by a 4-1 score. It was Landon Wright who opened up

the scoring for Quinte in the first on the pass from Carson Campbell. Liam Philip would add a second in the first, with assists from Thomas Kuipers and Gage Butcher. The second

period saw Brody Partridge tack one onto the scoreboard on the set up from Philip and Butcher. Beckett Ewart would go in unassisted to score the 4th goal of the game. Mike McIvor

stood tall between the pipes for the win.

Quinte hosted their homeopener on the Yardmen, newly name CAA arena, to the Ajax-Pickering Raiders on Sunday. The Devils would fall behind on the scoreboard as the Raiders found the back of the

net first but Wright answered back quickly on the pass from Ewart. Ewart would go in unassisted again to get the go ahead goal to make it 2-1 Quinte. The Raiders would not

let up and managed to sneak by 2 unanswered goals to make it a 3-2 loss for the Devils. Dean Spry was in net for the game.

On Deck; The Madison Excavating Peewees will host 2 home games this upcoming week on Saturday in Cobourg and on the Yardmen, CAA arena, on Sunday.
