Peewee Weekly Report Oct. 15-21
The Madison Excavating Peewees participated in the GTHL Peewee Challenge over the weekend.
The Devils would face the Toronto Nats first in the tourney and take a 4-1 win. Scoring in the game were Jared Langdon, Landon Wright, Gage Butcher and Thomas Kuipers. Assisting were Butcher(2), Beckett Ewart(2), Deacon Ellis and Caleb Martin. Mike McIvor in net.
Game 2 had Quinte take on Eastern Ontario and again the Devils came out victorious with a 3-0 win. Goals were from Liam Philip, Kuipers and Butcher. Assist from Wright. Dean Spry in net.
Game 3 was verses Oakville. The Devils took a 2-1 win with goals from Kuipers and Jared Langdon. Assists from Philip, Ty Therrien and Ewart. McIvor in net.
Game 4 the Devils matched up against Windsor and would recorded their second 2-1 victory of the day. Goals came from the defense, Braedyn Rogers and Carson Campbell, assisted by Therrien and Ewart. Spry in net.
Sunday had Quinte facing a strong Kitchener team. The Rangers kept pace but it would be the Devils that came out on top with a 3-2 win. Goals scored by Ben Danford, Therrien and the game winner from Landon Wright. McIvor was in net for the win.
Game 2 Sunday was against the local Markham Majors. The Devils saw an end to the winning streak and took a loss. Sole Devils goal came from Brody Partridge, assisted by Danford and Langdon. Spry in net.
