Peewee Weekly Report Oct. 22-28
The Madison Excavating Peewees took 2 more wins this past weekend, one on the road in Ajax and one at home against the Central Ontario Wolves.
In a face paced, end to end game, the Devils faced off against the Ajax-Pickering Raiders and came out with a strong 5-3 victory. Thomas Kuipers would open up the scoring for the Devils on the set up from Jared Langdon. In the second Landon Wright, Langdon and Beckett Ewart would each add one. Assisting in the second set was Caleb Martin, Deacon Ellis, Ewart and Liam Philip. The Raiders would pour on some of their own offence but it would not be enough as Langdon scored another in the third, assisted by Ewart and Grayson Jin to make it a 5-3 win. Mike McIvor in net.
Sunday was a home game verses the Central Ontario Wolves. The Wolves would test the waters with the Devils but it was Quinte who came out on top with a 3-2 win. Both teams scored 2 each in the second, with Quinte's coming from Ewart and Ty Therrien, assisted by Ben Vreugdenhil and Landon Wright. Ben Danford, assisted byThomas Kuipers would score the game winner. Dean Spry in net for the game.
