Eight Points in Seven Days
Quinte's winning streak continues...
The Rhino Sports Minor Atoms, started off their four game week against the Kingston Jr. Frontenacs.

Half way through the first period, Maclean Chisholm, assisted by Jonas McCoy, tipped the puck, and the devils were on the board.  A minute later, Chisholm found the back of the net again.  Ryan Foley, from Chisholm, for the third goal and Quinte was up by three.  Quinte would score again in the second period when Keegan Goulah, assisted by Brayden Davidson, fired one past the goalie.  Daniel Yeo got the 4-1 win for Quinte.
 
Up next, Quinte traveled to Ajax to face off against the Ajax Pickering Raiders for their first match of the season. Quinte was slow to get things started, but once they started they couldn't be stopped!  Goals were scored by: Grayson Hunt with a hat-trick, Davidson and Goulah. Assists went to: Brody Harrison, Goulah and Chisholm.  Yeo got the shut out in net as Quinte won 5-0 against the Raiders.
 
On Saturday, Quinte took on the Peterborough Petes.  Peterborough got on the board first with two quick goals. Chase Cybulskie popped in a short handed goal to get things started.  Followed by another short handed goal by Nate Rashotte, from Pierson Clute, and the game was tied.  Rashotte had a great pass to Chisholm for the third goal of the game. Plenty of penalties kept both teams playing short handed for most the game. In the third period, Goulah found the back of the net to bring Quinte in the led.  Rashotte made a pass to Foley and he went top shelf for the last goal of the game.  Charlie Vos took the 5-3 win in net.
 
On Sunday, Quinte hosted the Ajax Pickering Raiders on home ice.  There was no score after the first period. Ajax scored first, but the devils came back with a goal from Foley, assisted by Chase Cybulskie.  Goulah, assisted by  Chisholm, fired one past the goalie for the second goal. Late in the second period, Jake Gawley tipped in the rebound from Ty Leavitt. It was 3-1 for Quinte at the end of the second period.  Ajax started off the third period with a goal, followed quickly by another rebound shot from Leavitt to Chisholm.  Hunt, from Chisholm,  finished off the scoring for the game.   Yeo got the 5-2 win in net. 
 
With only two games left in the regular season, Quinte will be looking for two more wins on home ice when they face off against the Clarington Toros and Whitby Wildcats in February.
