The
World Elite Training Atoms had two home games this weekend! On Saturday, they hosted the North Central
Predators.
There was no score after the first period. The Devils took advantage of a bad change by the Predators, when Maclean Chisholm scored on a breakaway. Pierson Clute fired a shot from the blue line to give the devils their second goal of the game. At the end of the second period Quinte was up 2-0. Brayden Davidson didn’t waste any time when he scored off the face off to start the third period. Chisholm would score again to give Quinte the 4-0 win. Assists went to: Davdison, Clute and Camden Sloan. Lily Reid took home the shut out in net!
On Sunday, Quinte faced off against the Markham Waxers. Gabriel Davis found the back of the net from the blue line to put Quinte on the board. Chase Cybulskie took advantage of the power play and fired one past the goalie. With two Quinte players in the box, Ryan Foley danced around the Waxers for a short-handed goal. Assists went to: Nate Rashotte, Wyatt Whalen and Foley. Charlie Vos got the 3-1 win in net!
Quinte travels to Peterborough to face the Pete’s on Monday night and then hosts the Barrie Jr. Colts on Sunday in Madoc.
