On Saturday the Devils faced off against the York Simcoe Express. It was a second period game with a lot of action. The Express got on the board first, but the Devils were quick to fire back when Chase Cybulskie scored from Nate Rashotte.
A minute later, Camden Sloan hit the back of net from a pass from Maclean Chisholm. The Express scored again and Quinte was down by one goal at the end of the second period. Sloan from Chisholm for the second time tied the game. The game winning goal came with 30 seconds left in the game when Chisholm scored from Jonas McCoy. Quinte wins 4-3 with seconds to spare!
On Sunday, the Devils hosted the first place Richmond Hill Coyotes in Madoc. The Coyotes came out hot with two quick goals in the first period. The Devils just couldn't find the back of the net, despite a number of power plays. They took the 3-0 loss against the Coyotes.
Quinte hits the road next week and plays the York Simcoe Express and Markham Waxers before taking a break for the holidays.
