The
World Elite Training Atoms continued their series with Whitby. The Devils hit the road for game 2 in Whitby
on Saturday. It was a back and forth
game after the first 16 minutes, but then the Wildcats took off.
The Devils took a 7-2 loss against Whitby. Goals were scored by Maclean Chisholm (assisted by Ryan Foley) and Chase Cybulskie.
Game 3 saw the Devils come from behind. Gabriel Davis to Nate Rashotte for a top corner goal to start things off. Jake Gawley poked in the rebound from Blake Munnings and Keegan Goulah to Wyatt Whalen for another goal. Quinte was down by one goal with 5 minutes left in the third period. Cybulskie wins the faceoff with a pass to Rashotte and in the net. At the end of 40 minutes the game is tied. After a great comeback, Whitby was first to score in overtime and Quinte take the 5-4 overtime loss.
The series continues next weekend, Quinte plans to come out on top and wrap this series up by Sunday! Go Devils Go!!
