The Foley Bus Lines QRD U9 AAA Team are YGK Tournament Champions
The Foley Bus Lines QRD U9 AAA Team went 6-0-0 this weekend in Kingston to take home the YGK Tournament Championship. 

The Red Devils opened up the tournament with a 9-1 win over The Southern Tier Admirals on Friday. Evan Andrews and Kade Whelan each had a hat trick in the game. Kash Nelson, William Beebe and Graydon Tucker rounded out the scoring. Assisting on the goals; Max Norton (2), Nelson (2), Andrews (2), Nathan Wain (2), Oliver Hodgins, Ryker Thompson, Mac Brown and Noah Gilchrist. Malkin Courtney was solid between the pipes and Noah Gilchrist was names player of the game. In their second game of the day, The Devils skated to a 7-0 win over YSE. Lighting the lamp in the win was Linden Ludolph, Graydon Tucker, Kash Nelson, Max Norton, William Beebe, Evan Andrews and Ben Williams. Assists; Beebe, Dowling, Hodgins, Gilchrist, Andrews, Norton. Lily Groeneveld was sharp in net to earn the shutout. Jaxson Elrick was named player of the game.
On Saturday, the Devils were set to faceoff with The Whitby Wildcats. in a fantastic team effort, the Devils defeated the Wildcats by a score of 8-1. Goals were scored by Andrews (2), Dowling (2), Whelan, Nelson, Ryker Thompson and Gilchrist. Malkin Courtney was between the pipes and Evan Andrews was named player of the game.
in their final game of the round robin, the Red Devils defeated The Ajax Pickering Raiders 13-0. Noah Gilchrist scored 4 goals in the game, while Dowling and Tucker each added a pair. Whelan, Nelson, Andrews, Thompson and Norton all added singles. Assists; Nelson (2), Norton (2), Williams (2), Whelan and Andrews. Lily Groeneveld recorded her second straight shutout. Ben Williams was named player of the game.
After finishing first in their division, The red Devils would face North Niagara on Sunday morning in the semi final. Max Norton lit the lamp twice in the game, while Thompson, Whelan, Ludolph and Nelson all added a goal each. Chipping in with helpers on the goals; Andrews, Norton, Gilchrist and Nelson. Lily Groeneveld made some great save and got the win between the pipes. Linden Ludolph was names player of the game. 
The Red Devils were set to take on a very strong West Hill Team in the championship game. In a very exciting, back and forth game, that had fans on the edge of their seats. it was the Devils who won the game by a score of 4-2 to take home the Championship title! William Beebe, Linden Ludolph, Max Norton and Mac Brown all scored for their team. Assists went to Jaxson Elrick, Andrews, Ludolph. Malkin Courtney made several key saves in the win. 
The Coaching staff would like to compliment each player on their hard work and commitment to team play. The team continues to impress their coaches and their parents and we are looking forward to watching them continue to grow!
