The Borchert's Roofing QRD U11 AAA Team are 5-0 in the OMHA Playoffs, after earning three more wins this past week.
On Monday, The Red Devils hosted The hard working Peterborough Pete's in Marmora and skated away with a 4-2 win. Grady Riley, Mason Whalen, Shea Teather and Noah Hughes scored for The Devils. Hughes, Whalen and Brody Grant chipped in with assists. Matt Travers was sharp between the pipes to earn the win.
On Saturday, The Red Devils hosted The Whitby Wildcats at Marmora, and picked up right where they left off, on their way to a 9-2 win. Grady Riley scored a hat trick in the game, while Teather and Hughes each added a pair of goals. Brody Grant and Austin Pettey rounded out the scoring. Adding assists in the game was Hughes (2), Thomas Marsden (2), James Gullage, Riley, Teather and Grant. Noah Hughes was named player of the game. Dax Sage grabbed the win in net.
In their third game of the week, The Red Devils travelled to Bowmanville to take on The Clarington Toros. It was all Devils in this one, in a 12-0 win. Rowyn Haley and Grady Riley each scored a hat trick in the game. Austin Pettey and Noah Hughes each added a pair of goals, while Miller Nicholson and Brody Grant added singles. Chipping in with assists; Hughes (3), Grant (3), Teather (3), Nicholson (3), Cameron Stevens (3),Marsden (2), Edmund Dowling (2), Jack Woods (2), Pettey and Gullage. Matt Travers was in net for the win. Austin Pettey was named player of the game.
