3-3 Tie with Barrie and an 8-2 win over North Central
Saturday Sept. 25, 2021 @ Barrie Colts
The Stampkrete QRD U12’s started their regular season travelling north to face off against the always strong Barrie Colts. After surrendering the first goal of the game, the team found their legs and answered back with 3 goals of their own (Coen Lowry 2 goals, Trent Clow 1 goal). However, Barrie took advantage of a couple of power play opportunities and eventually tied the game up 3-3. QRD had a late power play opportunity of their own and dominated the play, but could not find the back of the net. Ryerson Swan had a strong game in net securing the 3-3 tied game!
Sunday Sept. 26, 2021 @ North Central Predators
After spending a night in a hotel and getting some quality team building experiences the Stampkrete QRD U12’s travelled to Orillia the following day to take on the North Central Predators. It was all QRD in this one, as Coen Lowry lead the offence scoring 4 goals of his own, while Trent Clow (2 goals), Hudson Brown (1 goal) and Ben Hunt (1 goal) scored as Quinte recorded an 8-2 win. Nathan Ferriss recorded his first AAA win in net and received the game puck!
