A Win, a Tie and Loss for the E360 Solutions U13’s
Kingston, Whitby and Clarington this week...

A three game week is split with a win, tie and loss for the E360 Solutions U13’s.

On Friday, the team went to Kingston to face off against the Kingston Jr. Gaels.  It was a scoreless first period, but the sticks got hot in the second.  On the power play, Jonas McCoy to Chase Cybulskie to get Quinte on the board.  McCoy again to Ryan Foley for the second goal.  Then Ryan Sherwin with a steal to Keegan Goulah and in the net.  The period would end with Nate Rashotte to Wyatt Whalen for the fourth goal of the period.  The second period would end with a score of 4-1, which would become the final score of the game. Lily Reid would get the win in net for the Devils.

Saturday, the E360 Solutions U13’s hosted the Whitby Wildcats in Belleville. Once again it was a scoreless first period.  The end of second period would see the Devils down 1-0 against the Wildcats. Seth Scaletta to Goulah with a slapshot and in to tie the game.  Fifteen seconds later Cybulskie with the drop pass to Whalen for a 2-1 score.  Unfortunately, the Devils couldn’t hang on for the win and would have to settle for a 2-2 tie with Whitby. Charlie Vos stopped 22 shots on net.

Another home game on Sunday when the E360 Solution hosted the Clarington Toro’s in their home barn in Madoc.  Quinte got on the board first with a pass out front from Maclean Chisholm to Ty Leavitt for the goal. The Toro’s answered right back with a goal and the first period would end in a 1-1 tie.  Sherwin with the rebound from Jake Gawley followed quickly by a slap shot by Chisholm to hit the back of the net.  Quinte would end the second period up 3-2.  Quinte would score one more goal in the third period when Scaletta fired a shot on net and Cybulskie would get the rebound and score.  The Toro’s would answer back and tie the game and then score again. Unfortunately the clock ran out and Quinte ended with a 5-4 loss against the Toro’s.
