The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils Are Taylor Hall Invitational Classic Champions.
The Red Devils had five wins and one tie on route to their championship. There was some stiff competition but the team played some great games and came out on top.

The Red Devils started their tournament early Friday morning with a 3-1 win vs the Burlington Eagles. Quinte goals were scored by Max Norton, Linden Ludolph and Ryker Thompson. Assists went to Matt Dawson (2), Malkin Courtney, Noah Gilchrist and Evan Andrews. Blake Laurin picked up the win in net and Ryker Thompson was named player of the game.


Their second game of the day had them up against their league rivals the Whitby Wildcats. It was another close game with Quinte pulling out a 2-1 win. Goals were scored by Noah Gilchrist and Evan Andrews (both unassisted). Lily Groeneveld was strong between the pipes picking up the win. Noah Gilchrist was named player of the game.


Saturday morning QRD faced a tough Waterloo Wolves team. It was a back and fourth battle that ended in a 2-2 tie. Quinte goals were scored by Malkin Courtney and Evan Andrews (both unassisted). Blake Laurin made some key saves in net for the Red Devils. Player of the game was Malkin Courtney. 


Saturday afternoon they would play against the Ottawa Sting. Quinte played a solid game and won by the score of 4-1. Evan Andrews had a hat trick and Kash Nelson picked up the other goal. Assists went to Ethan Dowling, Linden Ludolph and Lily Groeneveld. Lily also played a great game in net picking up the win. Evan Andrews was named player of the game.


With Quinte finishing their round robin with a record of 3–0-1 that put them in the semi finals on Sunday morning against the Hamilton Huskies. This was a nail biter right to the end. The Red Devils came out on top 4-3 in overtime. Goals were scored by Evan Andrews (overtime winner), Matt Dawson, Max Norton and Will Beebe. Assists went to Andrews (2), Graydon Tucker and Ethan Dowling. Blake Laurin picked up the semi-final win and Evan Andrews was named player of the game.


In the finals Quinte would take on another league rival in the Kingston Jr Gaels. The Red Devils skated to the Championship with a 6-1 win. Goals were scored by Kash Nelson (2), Jaxon Elrick, Noah Gilchrist, Will Beebe and Ryker Thompson. Picking up assists were Ethan Dowling (2), Malkin Courtney (2), Sebastien Smit, Gilchrist, Mac Brown and Evan Andrews. Lily Groeneveld picked up the Championship win and Kash Nelson was named player of the game.

ON DECK: The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils are back to league play with a home game Saturday in Marmora at 2PM vs the Markham Waxers and Sunday they hit the road to take on the Ajax-Pickering Raiders (1PM Don Beer).
