The Bonn Law QRD U12 Red Devils, remain undefeated in league
play, after picking up 3 straight wins in league play this week.
On Wednesday evening, The Devils hosted The Kingston Junior Gaels to a game at CAA Arena in Belleville. The Devils carried a 1-0 lead into the second period, before scoring four goals in the second period and six in the third, on their way to an 11-0 win over The Gaels. Dax Sage Shut the door between the pipes to pick up the shutout. Noah Hughes and Jaxson Plummer each scored a hat trick in the game. Also lighting the lamp in the win was Dowling (2), Goulah, Whalen, Nicholson. Assists; Whalen (2), McRae (2), Miedema (2), Stevens (2), Grant, Gullage, McCulloch, Goulah, Plummer.
The Red Devils headed North on the weekend for a double header with the hard working North Central Predators. On Saturday, Matt Travers stood tall between the pipes to earn the shutout, as The Devils skated to a 5-0 win over The Preds. Miller Nicholson scored a pair of goals to get his team started, while Plummer, Teather and Stevens each added singles. Chipping in with helpers on the goals was McCulloch, McRae (2), Stevens (2), Miedema.
On Sunday, The Red Devils would take on the Preds once more and found themselves up against a hot goalie in a 3-1 win. Nicholson, Teather and Hughes provided the goals in this one, while Dowling (2), Goulah, Marsden, Pettey and Whalen each added assists. Dax Sage picked up another win between the pipes.
The Red Devils are looking forward to another busy week; At Ajax Friday night 6:00 pm, back home Saturday @1:45 vs Peterborough, and on the road again Sunday @ Woodville vs The Undefeated Central Ontario Wolves.
