The Bonn Law QRD U12 Team, have secured a spot in the OMHA Championships,
after two more wins this past weekend in the ETA playdowns.
The Devils hosted The North Central Predators on Saturday in
Marmora. In a total team effort, the boys skated to a 10-2 win. Noah Hughes had
4 goals in the game and was named player of the game. Also scoring in the game:
Pettey (2), McRae (2), Marsden and Whalen. Chipping in with helpers on the
goals: Whalen (3), Stevens, Nicholson, Gullage, Teather. Dax Sage was solid in
net to earn the win.
On Sunday, The Red Devils travelled to Woodville to face
their ETA rivals, The Central Ontario Wolves. In a face paced, back and forth,
physical battle, that had fans in the edge of their seats, it was the Devils who
came out on top in this one, winning the game 3-1. Noah Hughes and Holden
Goulah each scored on the powerplay (assisted by Whalen, Nicholson and Pettey).
Brody Grant scored the GWG in this one, when he buried a pass from James Gullage.
Matt Travers made several highlight reel saves in the game and was named played
of the game for his team.
On Deck: The Bonn Law QRD U12 Team wrap up round robin play
with two home games this coming weekend. Saturday 11:00 am @ Baltimore vs
Clarington and Sunday 1:00 vs The Wolves @ Colborne.
