Gillespies Tree Service QRD U13’s Weekly Report - November 7 2022
Gillespie’s Tree Service U13’s Winning streak continues to earn the team 6 points this week!
With three games since Thursday the Gillespie’s Tree Service Quinte U13’s have strung together eight in a row to bring their season to 10-1-1 and are now on top in their division. First we started off by beating Clarington 4-1 at home on Thursday with goals by Clow, Seguin, Lowry and Marion. Assists earned by Marion, Clow, Dahle, Harold. Ferriss with the W in net.
Saturday the team travelled to St. Andrews College and managed to beat YSE 3-1 who were in second place. Goals by Laurin, Whelan and Dahle, assists given to Thompson, Lowry & Dewar. Ryerson Swan earned the win between the pipes this game.
Then to top off the weekend we had a penalty filled game on Sunday in Markham but finished with a 5-1 win. Ferriss was in net Vs the Waxers. Putting the goals up for this one were Clow (2), Laurin, Thompson & Marion. Assisted by Whelan, B. Aird, Laurin, Dewar & Seguin.
Nathan Ferris and Ryerson Swan have been solid in net for the Red Devils, only allowing 18 Goals against in the first 12 games.There is no lack of offence with this crew as the whole team has chipped in on the goals. For team defence, the goals against average speak for themselves. The Quinte U13’s take pride in their team and attitude comes first.
With just practices this week they are off to the Niagara North Front Row Sports Classic tournament on Friday!
