WEEKLY REPORT - Dec. 5/22
A Win and Two Losses for the U15 Free Flow Petroleum Devils this Week

On Wednesday, the Free Flow Petroleum Devils hosted the Kingston Jr. Gaels at the CAA. Jack Foley opened scoring for the Devils in the first period, with Jacob Moore and Graydon Walst drawing assists. The second period would begin with the teams even at one each. Foley hit the net again in the second, assisted by Moore and L. Campbell, but three goals by the Gaels had the Devils in a deficit as the period ended. Foley (Moore) completed his hat trick in the third, but the Red Devils came out on the losing end of a 6-3 tilt, with Cohen Bedore taking the loss in net.

Wednesday also marked the end of the U15’s Movember Campaign, raising awareness and $1,610.00 for men’s health!

On Saturday, the U15s hosted the Peterborough Petes for a midday match. Both teams were held scoreless through the first in a fast-paced game. Early in the second frame, Kaden Koutroulides beat his defender for some open ice and found the back of the net, unassisted. In the final minutes of the second, Koutroulides, assisted by Liam Grant, would score again and the period would end with the Devils up by two. Jack Foley assisted by Ryan Kinghan and Kolby Craig widened Quinte’s lead in the third. The Petes answered with two of their own but Matthew Airhart potted an empty netter from behind the Devils goal line to make the final 4-2. Otsirakatste played a solid game in net for the win.

On Sunday, the Devils traveled to Barrie to face the Colts. The Devils fought hard during the first two periods of play, despite the Colts striking first. Jake Campbell opened scoring for the Devils in second, with Noah Lesser and Airhart drawing assists. J. Campbell again found the back of the net, assisted by Moore and Airhart and the period would end with the Devils behind by one. Foley (Airhart) found the back of the net in third, but the Colts seized control of the game and the match would end 7-3, with Brant taking the loss in net.
