U16 Pita Pit Quinte Red Devils Go 3 for 3 this Week
The U16 Pita Pit Quinte Red Devils had a successful weekend of regular season play. On Thursday night at home, the Red Devils had a strong 4-1 win over their rivals, the Kingston Junior Gaels. Reece Herman was in net and goals were scored by Brody Nielissen (2), Ben Sherwin and Evan Erwin. On Saturday at home, the Pita Pit Red Devils had a slow start with the Waxers taking an early 1–0 lead. They came on strong in the second taking the lead with a 4-1 win. Reece Herman stood between the pipes and goals were scored by Pax Murphy, Brock Davy, Jack Pixley and Parker Fergusson.
On Sunday The Pita Pit Red Devils hit the road to play the Richmond hill Coyotes. The Devils defeated the Coyotes with a strong 9-1 win. Liam Boyer was in net and goals were scored by Pax Murphy (3), Avery Wease (2), Ben Sherwin, Parker Fergusson, Brody Nielissen and Jack Pixley. A great weekend for the Pita Pit Red Devils!
On Deck- On Tuesday, the Pita Pit Red Devils travel to Kingston to take on the Kingston Junior Gaels (8:30pm). On Thursday at home (7pm), Quinte plays the Whitby Wildcats and on Saturday at home (4pm) they take on the Markham Waxers once again.
