Charity / Celebrity Ball Hockey Game
Saturday July 25 - Metro Parking Lot - Downtown Kingston 9am-4pm
For more information or to register a team - Contact Kevin by email at [email protected]

My name is Kevin Bailie and I’m the goaltender for the Queen’s Gaels hockey team. Before attending school and playing in the CIS, I played in the OHL for five seasons with the Oshawa Generals and London Knights. I also happen to be a very proud Quinte Red Devil Alumni.

During this time I got to meet a lot of great players, and better yet, great people. I have been across the province attending charity games for communities, and I realized Kingston - which is an awesome hockey town - doesn’t really have anything for the young players in its area to come meet players that participated in the same grassroots programs and made it to the professional ranks. As a transplanted Kingstonian, and Belleville native, I decided along with some sponsors to start throwing a charity ball hockey game in downtown Kingston, free of charge, for the community.

There will be over 40 Celebrities - including 17 current and former NHL players - playing in a ball hockey tournament Saturday July 25th in the Downtown Metro parking lot during the day. Food, drinks will be readily available, along with a donation table for the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston if anyone desires to make a donation.

Each Celebrity is bringing 100 hockey cards to sign and hand out to kids, and we would love to have as many local young players come out and take pictures, ask questions, get autographs, and anything else they would like!

I came across your email due to your work with QRD hockey, and figured you would be a good person to contact. If you want to pass this along to your teams/organizations, or anyone who would be interested that would be great! If you have any questions or requests, you have my email, and we look forward to hopefully seeing some of your members in a few weeks!
