The Pond at Rhino Sports and Playland Minor Midgets have moved up from 10th to 8th in the eighth week of the 2017 OHL Cup Rankings. The Red Devils were given honourable mention status in the first five weeks of the rankings, but have climbed from 10th to 8th in the last 3 weeks.

The top 3 this week are:
1. London Jr Knights
2. Mississauga Rebels
3. Whitby Wildcats

The OHL Cup is a Showcase tournament that is played in Toronto (March 14-20), where the top minor midget AAA teams from Ontario and the US face off in front of a very large collection of scouts, general managers and coaches, a few weeks before the OHL Priority Selection.
