I did not know Dave really well, but he was at our house a few times for dinner and I enjoyed many conversations with him, always centred on Hockey. He cared about the kids, and was very passionate about the game. He believed that it was very important to provide high level hockey programs for the young athletes in our area, and he was very complimentary about the great coaches we always seem to attract to Quinte. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Deb and his family.
