QRMHA Invites Expressions of Interest for Coaches for the 2018-2019 Season
The
Quinte Regional Minor Hockey Association is now accepting expressions of
interests for coaching positions for the 2018-2019 season.
Deadline is January 5, 2018
The Quinte Regional Minor Hockey Association is now accepting expressions of interests for coaching positions. These are paid positions. (Parent coaches are also paid. )
Your expression of interest must include:
a) All candidates must submit a completed Coach Application Form 2018-2019

b) All candidates must provide a 1 to 2 page "basic outline" of their season plan
c) Current coaches interested in returning to the same team should also provide a document on how their team has progressed in the current season
d) All candidates must provide a list of any people they are considering for their staff
All coaches must have a minimum of Coach Level NCCP (Hockey) certification and completed the Speak Out! (PRS) or Respect in Sport (RIS) course. Coaches not meeting the minimum certification requirements will be required to obtain certification prior to the start of the season. You must also complete a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) prior to being appointed.

Please note - Successful Applicants will have to be patient, as announcements for 2018-19 Coaches will not be made until the completion of the 2017-18 season, usually after the QRD Annual Banquet. The exception is the coach of the Novice team, which is a new position every year, and will be announced earlier.
