Here is the President's Report for the AGM - May 31, 2018...
It has been another very successful year for the Quinte Red Devil organization. There have been many challenges, but there have been many more successes. So much of the success is a result of the hard work, talent and dedication and of our athletes. We are blessed with an excellent group of young hockey players, and I have no doubt that next year our teams will achieve even more. Our success is also dependent on the coaches, volunteers, staff members, and parents and our ability to work together for the benefit of our young athletes. I would like to sincerely thank all of our coaches, board members, managers, trainers, statisticians, organizers, article writers, photographers, and supporters.
Special thanks must be given to our current, and outgoing board members. The Quinte Red Devils are extremely lucky to have excellent, hard working individuals who have volunteered to serve on our board. As I have said before, many of our successes over the past few years are the result of having good people on our board. Thanks very much to all of you.

Here are a few examples of the successes from the past season…
-This year eight of our nine teams qualified for the OMHA Playdowns. We had three teams, Minor Peewee, Minor Bantam and Minor Midget earn a spot in the OMHA Championships. The Minor Peewee won the Gold Medal after earning the Silver a year ago as Atoms. The Minor Bantams won the silver medal in a rematch of the 2013 OMHA Championships. The Minor Midgets played well enough in Bradford to earn a wildcard spot at the OHL Cup.
-We have 2 athletes that attended the OHL Combine- Jacob Vreugdenhil and Ben Roger
- Corbin Votary attended the brand new Hockey Canada Program of Excellence U14 Goalie Camp
- We also had 4 minor midget players drafted in the OHL Priority Selection -

- Isaac has since signed a standard player agreement with the Kitchener Rangers.
- Our borders were challenged, and we were successful in maintaining the existing territory.
- Our midget program continues to be one of the best in the ETA.
- AND we had a group of young athletes on our peewee team who distinguished themselves in the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup who completed hundreds of hours of community service, raised thousands of dollars for worthy charities like The Canadian Cancer Society (breast cancer research) and Ronald McDonald House.
I am stepping down as President, and will assume the role of Past-President which is a board position. I look forward to continuing to work with all of you in the upcoming season. Good luck to all of our graduating players (and parents), and thanks again to all of our coaches – current and those that are moving on. We appreciate all you do for the organization.
