The Bonn Law Minor Bantams were able to keep their winning streak alive this week posting a 10-0 record on the season.  They hosted Central Ontario Wolves midweek in Cobourg for their second match up of the season. With Aidan Crowley in net, the Devils were able to secure a 4-3 win even after the relentless Wolves managed to battle back in the third to keep the game close. Opening the scoring for your Bonn Law Minor Bantams was Cal Uens on a pass from Spencer Cranley.  The Wolves tied the game midway through the second before the Devils answered back with two quick goals of their own, coming from Jack Dever (assists to Ethan Quick and Duncan Schneider) and Ethan Miedema (unassisted).  Ethan Quick netted the fourth with helpers from Miedema and Dever.

On Saturday, the boys took to the road for their highly anticipated match up versus the York Simcoe Express, the leader of the West division.  The team knew this would be a true test and they answered with a convincing 4-1 win. Once again, Cal Uens put the Devils on the board first with a laser shot that beat their goaltender high.  Duncan Schneider was credited with the assist. The lone goal from York Simcoe came midway through the second period to tie the game. Shortly after, Ethan Miedema was given a penalty shot after being tripped up on a breakaway and was able to capitalize giving Quinte a 2-1 lead.  Miedema then scored the third goal in the second providing a cushion heading into intermission. The third period was an intense battle with York Simcoe pulling their goalie late in the game. Cal Uens provided the Devils with additional insurance banging home an empty netter.
