Quinte Red Devils Weekly Report: Nov 11-17
Here is the QRD Weekly Report for the week of Nov 11-17

World Elite Training- Major Atom
The World Elite Training Atoms had two home games this weekend!  On Saturday, they hosted the North Central Predators.  

There was no score after the first period.  The Devils took advantage of a bad change by the Predators, when Maclean Chisholm scored on a breakaway. Pierson Clute fired a shot from the blue line to give the devils their second goal of the game.  At the end of the second period Quinte was up 2-0.  Brayden Davidson didn’t waste any time when he scored off the face off to start the third period.  Chisholm would score again to give Quinte the 4-0 win. Assists went to: Davdison, Clute and Camden Sloan.  Lily Reid took home the shut out in net!

On Sunday, Quinte faced off against the Markham Waxers.  Gabriel Davis found the back of the net from the blue line to put Quinte on the board.  Chase Cybulskie took advantage of the power play and fired one past the goalie. With two Quinte players in the box, Ryan Foley danced around the Waxers for a short-handed goal. Assists went to: Nate Rashotte, Wyatt Whalen and Foley. Charlie Vos got the 3-1 win in net! 

Quinte travels to Peterborough to face the Pete’s on Monday night and then hosts the Barrie Jr. Colts on Sunday in Madoc.

Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Peewee
A two home game weekend for the Minor  Peewees; they faced Richmond Hill on Saturday and North Central on Sunday. 

Coming out of the weekend with a 1-1 tie and 1-0 loss. Quinte’s goal was scored by Owen Rivers, assisted by Riley Reid and Kolby Craig. 

Upcoming: Sat. Nov. 23 at 2pm the Minor peewees host the Barrie Jr Colts (the the QSWC in Belleville). Let’s go boys!!

Bonn Law- Major Bantam
The Bonn Law Major Bantams had a quiet week with one home game against the North Central Predators.  Although the boys were able to get out to an early lead, 4 NCP goals in the second period was enough to end the game in a 4-4 tie. 

Aidan Crowley was in net for QRD. Scoring from Ethan Quick, Cal Uens, Nick Oke and Ethan Miedema helped to secure the point. Assists credited to Miedema (2), Uens, Quick, Tyson Carr, Duncan Schneider, Ben Davy and Jack Dever.

Week ahead: The boys travel to Bradford to face off against York Simcoe Express on Saturday evening, then are at home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the CAA arena hosting the Oshawa Generals. Join us for our Sponsor Appreciation Day Sunday, November 24th!

McInroy Maines- Major Midget
The Quinte McInroy-Maines Midget Red Devils went 1 and 1 in two league games this weekend.

The Devils kicked off the weekend with a 5-2 win over NCP. Beckett Palmer-Stephen had the hat trick for QRD while Zack Brooks and Aiden Treverton added a goal apiece.
Lucas Culhane had three assists while single helpers went to Nate Burelle, Cayde Culhane, Hunter Hall, Michael Patrick and Isaac Uens.
Alex Lucas picked up the win in net for QRD.
On Sunday, a banged up QRD squad short four players headed to Peterborough and despite a great effort dropped a 3-0 decision to the first place Petes.
Ethan Fraser was strong in net.
Devils of the Day went to Ian Harrison, Isaac Uens and Nate Burelle.

Congratulations
 to Nate Burelle, Gavin Camp and Lucas Culhane who were selected by their teammates to the Midget ETA all-star game in Clarington in November 24th.

Burelle and Culhane sit in the top five of league scoring, with Burelle posting 12 G, 12 A for 24 points in 17 games while Culhane leads the ETA in assists, with 6 G, 20 A for 26 points in 15 games.
Camp is a 6 foot 3 defenceman that has 3 G and 2 A in 17 games and is one of the top defenceman in the ETA

Madison Excavating- Minor Bantam

The Madison excavating minor bantams had a busy three-game week this week in league play. The Devils secured another six points with three wins.

 Game one of the week was in Clarington to face the Toros. Nolan Donnelly opened up scoring for the Devils in the first period on the set up from Carson Campbell and Ben Danford. The Toros answered back to tie the game but a shot from Beckett Ewart would give Quinte the lead again. Assisted by Campbell and Landon Wright. Brody Partridge would score the third and final goal of the game in the Devils favour in the second, assisted by Danford to make it a 3-2 final. Mike McIvor was in net for the win. 

Saturday had the devils on the road to Pickering to face the Raiders. In a physical back and forth battle it was Quinte who came out on top with a 5-2 victory. Ty Therrien potted 2 goals on assists from Wright(2) and Jared Langdon(2). Donnelly scored a single on the set up from Gage Butcher. Partridge also scores 2 goals in the game assisted by Ben Vreugdenhil. Glen McInnes stood tall in net for the win. 

Game 3 of the week was a Sunday match up with NCP. Again the Devils found the back of the net first on a shot from Vreugdenhil, assisted by Danford and Langdon. Partridge scored another 2 goals with assists going to Danford and Deacon Ellis. Braedyn Rogers would score the final goal assisted by Langdon and Danford. McIvor was in net for the 4-2 win.
