World Elite Training- Major Atom (U11)
The World Elite Training Atoms had three games on the schedule this week, however Mother Nature had other plans.  The Atoms hit the road to face the Clarington Toros on Friday night.

Mid way through the first period Wyatt Whalen tapped in a rebound from Camden Sloan. The score was 1-0 for Quinte going into the second period.  Jake Gawley scored with a backhander goal, followed by a break away five hole for another goal.  The scoring didn't stop there. Whalen scored from a great pass by Maclean Chisholm followed by a goal from Nate Rashotte and Blake Munnings went end to end to beat the goalie.  Quinte was ahead 6-0 at the end of the second period.  The Toros fought hard to come back and scored two goals in the third period. Quinte finished it off with one last goal when Jonas McCoy fired a shot from the circle to end the game.  Assists went to: Ryan Foley, Brayden Davidson, Whalen, Keegan Goulah, Chisholm and Gawley. Charlie Vos got the 7-2 win in net!

The team heads to Buffalo for The Cup North American Championship Tournament where they face teams from Connecticut, Boston and Chicago. Go Devils Go!!

Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Peewee (U12)
Sitting one spot behind the Peterborough Petes in league standings, the Free Flow Petroleum Minor Peewees played host to the Petes, on Thursday night. A critical win to leapfrog over the Petes in the standings, the Devils had their sights set on just that. The visiting team was first on the board, taking us into the second period at a 1-0 deficit, however the Devils displayed 3 periods of incredible teamwork, in front of goalie Katste Brant. Taking the charge of the game, mid-way through the second period, Quinte took the lead, as Ryland Cunningham popped 3 goals. Assists marked by: Jack Foley (2), Kaden Koutroulides and Riley Reid. Matthew Airhart (from Jacob Moore) added the Devils 4th goal, in the 3rd, to secure a commanding 4-1 victory!!

Game two of the weekend and again at home, saw the Devils facing the undefeated, Barrie Jr. Colts. Knowing what they were up against, this game was guaranteed to be exciting until the final buzzer! Quinte was first to notch a point, with an unassisted goal by Airhart. Quickly into the middle frame, the Devil's second was scored by Cunningham from a Koutroulides, Foley feed. Minutes later, it was a 2-1 game. With only one period left and two teams driven to be victorious, the stakes remained high. Barrie then tied the game at 2, followed by Quinte raising the score 3-2 (Cunningham, from Koutroulides). Barrie responding once more, tying up the Devils, 3-3 and forcing both teams to battle until the end for that winning goal. With 9 second left in the game, Barrie snuck in their 4th and a 4-3 victory, over our Minor Peewees.

A busy weekend it was, on Sunday the team traveled to Richmond Hill, for a Devils-Coyotes match up.
