Here are QRMHA Proposed Constitution Amendments to be voted on at the May 2020 AGM.

ARTICLE 6 - EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

6.12    The President shall:

Current:

(d)  be responsible for mail pickup at Post Office (may appoint another Director to do so);

Amend to:

DELETE

 

6.13     The Vice-President – Hockey Development & Operations shall:

Current:

(b)  chair the Coaching Selection Committee;

Amend to:

(b) co-chair the Coaching Selection Committee

 

6.17     The Secretary shall:

 

Current: 

(f)  maintain an up-to-date mailing and telephone list of all Directors and Members of  the Association;

Amend to:

(f) maintain an up-to-date electronic mailing and telephone list of all Directors and Members of the Association

 

Current: 

(g)  mail notice of Annual General Meeting to all current members;

Amend to

g) email notice of Annual General Meeting to all current members and post on Association website

 

ARTICLE 7 - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Current:

7.03     Notice of the Annual Meeting or any other special meeting of the general members shall be given by sending a written notice, at least thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed for the meeting, to all Minor Hockey Associations within the Quinte Regional Zone and Executive Committee Members.  A public notice must also be posted in locations as determined by the Board of Directors.  In the case of a special meeting, the business transacted at that meeting shall be limited to the business stated in the notice of the special meeting.

Amend to:

7.03    Notice of the Annual General Meeting or any other special meeting of the general members shall be given by public notice posted on the Association website and shared via social media outlets and other location determined by the Board of Directors.  In the case of a special meeting, the business transacted at that meeting shall be limited to the business stated in the notice of the special meeting.
