QRD U16 Grad signs with Dukes ...
The Wellington Dukes have signed AAA U16 grad Cooper Matthews for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
Matthews, a 5'9" / 157lb right shot forward, helped the Quinte Red Devils to an OMHA Championship last season where he finished 2nd on the team in scoring recording 27 goals, 29 assists for 56 points in 36 games. He also added 11 more points (3G,8A) in 8 games during the Red Devils playoff run. Cooper was selected in the 3rd round, 48th overall, by the Barrie Colts in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection.
