Now that the September 30th date set by Hockey Canada and OHF regarding unsanctioned hockey leagues has passed, all registered players within the QRMHA development program are now considered participants solely registered to Quinte as a minor hockey association sanctioned by Hockey Canada (HC), the Ontario Hockey Federation(OHF), and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association(OMHA).
As such, any registered players who participate in any non-sanctioned leagues, tournaments or events, will be at risk of HC and OHF consequences. (Possible sanctions are suspension from hockey programs for the season). In addition to the protocol in place from HC and in an effort to better protect the health and safety of all of our players and their families, QRMHA will require that any registered player(s) in the 2020/21 programming, who participates in any unsanctioned hockey events outside of our Quinte area Public Health Unit, will be required to quarantine from their team/programming for 14 days. Following the 14 day quarantine, players will be welcomed back to full participation in QRMHA events.
