Madison Excavating U16's Win Both Games at U16 Showcase
3-0 over Richmond Hill Coyotes, and 4-3 vs Markham Waxers...
The Madison Excavating Quinte Red Devils took to the road this weekend to play in the prestigious OMHA U16 AAA Showcase in Oakville, winning both of their games to continue their undefeated season.
Their first game Saturday was against the Richmond Hill Coyotes ending in a 3-0 win. Goals were scored by Nolan Donnelly, Thomas Kuipers and Reed Gee. Assists came from Trey Cocek, Mike McIvor, Reed Gee, Carson Campbell, Ben Vreugdenhil snd Beckett Ewart. Mike McIvor stood tall in net for the shutout.
In the Sunday game they battled their arch rival, the second place Markham Waxers defeating them 4-3. Scoring goals were Thomas Kuipers, Nolan Donnelly, Ben Danford and Ethan Toms. Assists were provided by Braedyn Rogers (2), Liam Philip(2), Trey Cocek, Ben Danford, Beckett Ewart and Thomas Kuipers. In net for the win was Glen McInnes.
On Deck: The U16s will host the Clarington Toros on Saturday at 4:00pm at QSWC MacKay Arena.
