QRD Awards presented, and Grads Honoured...
On Saturday, Quinte Red Devils players from our U9 through our U18 teams, were joined by family and friends to form a group of nearly 500 people attending a “QRD Night” at the Belleville Senators game.
Although the opponent, the Rochester Americans, came out ahead on the scoreboard, QRD players and families enjoyed a fantastic night!
The Belleville Senators honoured Quinte’s graduating players with a pre-game ceremonial puck drop at centre ice. QRHMA would also like to recognize the efforts, commitment, and impressive minor hockey careers of Kellen Dostaler, Bailey Pipe, Kyle Ramsperger, Liam Reid, Brady Spry, and Ryan Turney as we wish them well as they move on from the Association.
QRD’s 2022 Award winners were announced and pictured on the jumbotron:

Players from all teams participated in several activities during the night, including joining the Belleville Senators’ starting line-up on the ice for the anthems and clearing the pucks following warmups. A special thank you to the U15, U16, and U18 teams for assisting with the Chuck-a-puck fundraiser for the Association. Following the game, all players were invited onto the ice for a group photo. All in all, the night was a great way to mark the end of the 2021-2022 season!
